ICIS'23 is committed to ensuring that appropriate and necessary health and safety protocols will be in place for this event.

At this time, it is recommended that ICIS2023 attendees be vaccinated for COVID-19. 

ALL attendees (live and virtual) must agree to the Conference Code of Conduct.   

ICIS'23 will be held September 17 - 22,  2023, in Victoria BC.

23:59:00 PDT JULY 24, 2023

In the registration process:

1. Check the box: Check to include VAT #
2. Include the VAT# in the field
3. Print the PDF file, ensuring that the address fields are those required by your Finance Dept.

*NOTE: For registration purposes, students are those who have not yet defended a thesis, have not started a post-doctoral position and are presenting on behalf of the institution in which they are/were enrolled.

Cancellation Policy:
All cancellations must be provided in writing to ICIS2023@triumf.ca before August 4, 2023. A cancellation fee of $300.00CAD will be deducted from the amount paid. Consideration may be made for unforeseen circumstances and denied Visitor Visa requests.
There will be no refund of registration fee made after August 17, 2023.
Any refunds granted will be made by the same method as the original payment method and will be processed after the completion of the conference. Any fees for wire transfer refunds will be the responsibility of the registrant.

Visas:  
If you are traveling from outside Canada, you may need a Visitor's Visa to enter Canada. Please refer to the Government of Canada site (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/visit/visas.asp) for instructions on how and who needs to apply for a Visitor’s Visa to come to Canada.  During the registration process select YES if you require a Letter of Invitation to attach to your application.    Send ICIS2023@triumf.ca an email alerting registration that you have made this request.

• Visitor Visa (from outside Canada);
• country from where you are applying from.

US citizens carrying a valid US Passport do not require a Visitors Visa to come to Canada.   Residents of the US who carry a passport from a country listed on the Government of Canada site will need an Invitation Letter from the Conference Chair to attach to their Visitor’s Visa Application.
