Oral presentations

All presentations will be presented using the computer provided by the ICIS'23 conference.   A Speaker Ready room will be set up for you to review your talk before presenting.  Hours of operation will be posted and any concerns regarding your presentation should be sent to ICIS2023@triumf.ca and the Presentation Manager will assist you.

All presentations (Oral and Invited) are expected to be uploaded to the Indico site no less than 24 hours before your scheduled presentation.

Contributed talks: 15 minutes
Invited talks: 25 minutes
5 minutes are reserved for discussions. Please prepare your presentation accordingly.

Posters

All posters should be A0 sized in either landscape or portrait orientation (mounting space provided is 4 feet x 4 feet/122 cm x 122 cm). Larger sizes will make it difficult to fit on the poster board. We recommend between 150 and 300 DPI resolution. Poster presenters will be given an ID number and are asked to mount their posters in the indicated spot before the first poster session. Material for mounting the posters will be provided.

Students who submit an abstract for a poster will be automatically registered for the Student Poster Competition. This will be judged by the scientific program committee during the poster sessions and the three best posters will receive prizes.

For registration purposes, students are those who have not yet defended a thesis, have not started a post-doctoral position and are presenting on behalf of the institution in which they are/were enrolled.

If the contribution is a poster and you are a Virtual Attendee, one person (author, co-author, etc.) must attend in-person to present the poster.
